Coming from an FX-8300 and GTX 960, not only did I want a better workstation for photography/video editing, but I also wanted a monster for gaming. So, that is exactly what I built. When it comes to theme, I was looking for something black and white. Now, I know the motherboard has yellow highlights, but it actually matches my KRK Rokit 5 speakers (which I totally planned). This PC is amazing compared to my old system in looks and performance and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.

Funny story: My FX-8300 had been crashing so often to the point where it crashed twice a day, but the day I received my new parts, the PC stopped booting.

AMAZING! Coming from an FX-8300. AMD made one hell of a come back. A huge bonus is I will be able to upgrade to the 7nm processors later on without needing to purchase a new motherboard.

CPU Cooler

Budget-friendly, beautiful, and keeps my processor cool (even when overclocked). Amazing purchase!

Had some problems with the I/O shield and some USB ports, but other than that, it looks amazing and it gets the job done. Also, the yellow highlights match my KRK Rokit 5 speakers amazingly. I didn't even mean for that to happen.

Fast and amazing LED lighting. Love these sticks of RAM!

I use this to boot Windows and run some games. With 500GB you can store a LOT.

Just your typical hard drive. I have been using it for 2 years now. No problems.

This has gone through 3 years of constant use and in the past 2 years I have used it to keep a backup of everything. No problems, but I only have this because it came from a pre-built.

Video Card

I never thought I'd buy an MSI graphics card, but this black and white beast caught my attention right away. After overclocking, it's identical to a 1080. One hell of a deal!

I LOVE this case. It completely changed my mind about Fractal. You can't see the PSU or the hard drive cage. All you see is the stuff you WANT to see. The cable management in this was a breeze. Not only was there plenty of room, but the built-in Velcro straps on the front were awesome! A big plus is it came with zip ties.

Power Supply

Provides some nice and dandy power.

Case Fan

Quiet and does an amazing job of pushing air.

This is one hell of a bright strip. The fact the connector also has a magnet is amazing. It was so easy to install.

High quality cable extenders. They come with clear combs which I find kind of ugly, but that is a personal preference.

I thought I would run into problems, but it is so compact it fit perfectly in the back of my case and does it's job perfectly. (It comes with Velcro in case you need it)!

For my Phanteks cables, they were a little loose, but for the price, I am okay with it.

why didn't you take a slightly less close up shot of the build? I mean, you did take some great close ups, but what does it look like from the outside? Kinda want to know, since it looks so good from the inside, but thats just me, soooo yea... PS. Excellent parts choice! very nice

I'll take another shot today and post it just for you. I took the inside shots at night and my room has bad lighting so I didn't shoot it from the outside really. Also, thanks for the compliment!

Done! You can see what it looks like on my desk from the outside of the case now!

I was also suprised by the quality of them considering the price.

Thank you! I appreciate the comment! I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes it.

No problem! Just make sure you overclock that RAM to as fast as you can! That cpu will appreciate it

Snnackss submitter 1 Build 2 points 11 months ago

As soon as I noticed some FPS drops when looking around in Rust, I over clocked the RAM and CPU and performance shot up like crazy. So, I'm good to go on that one!

Hey, this is a great build! I believe that if you add just a bit more to the description you might be able to get a feature. This build is clean, no unicorn poop but just lacks a bit of detail.

Snnackss submitter 1 Build 2 points 11 months ago

I added some more to the description. I'd be shocked if this was featured. Thanks for the tip!

DerpyAlpuca 1 point 11 months ago

Yeah, this really looks clean and I love black and white builds.

Danni_4 1 point 10 months ago

Did the Cryorig H7 fit on the motherboard without any additional brackets?

Snnackss submitter 1 Build 2 points 10 months ago

Well, mine came with an AM4 ready bracket. (I ordered from Amazon)
