• CPU : INTEL Core i7 6700
  • RAM : G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 2133MHz 32GB (16GBx2)
  • SSD : SAMSUNG 950 Pro 512GB
  • PSU : SILVERSTONE SX700-LPT 700Watt 80Plus Platinum
  • CASE : FRACTAL DESIGN Define Nano S (windows)

  • CPU Cooler : CORSAIR H80i v2
  • Thermal Paste : GELID GC-Extreme

  • Mouse : CORSAIR Sabre RGB Optical
  • Mouse Pad : CORSAIR MM800 Polaris
  • Keyboard : CORSAIR K70 LUX RGB (red switch)

  • Monitor : ASUS MG248Q
  • Cable : OREION Custom Cable MDPC-X 6mm Titanium Extension Cable Set
  • PSU Bracket : SILVERSTONE PP08

After 1 year and 8 month of using Macbook Air 11" (Early 2015 i7/8GB/256GB) I finally build a compact gaming pc. I use this baby for network lab / simulation / gaming and Etc.

  • Motherboard component is quite special. It have some electronic component behind the CPU socket. You have to make sure that your cooling can fit with it.
  • I use SFX PSU for this build because I want to leave more space for VGA to breath but the cable is too short. I have to order a custom extension cable for it.
  • This case didn't fit for SFX PSU. I have to order SilverStone PP08 and it takes 1 month to arrive (I'm living in Thailand)
  • VGA is quite long for this case. At first I plan to use Corsair H115i but it don't fit. That why I use Corsair H80i v2

P.S. I change some part later because of defect and overheat problem. But I'm so lazy for taking a photo again

Old Parts

  • CPU Cooler : CRYORIG C7 / Noctua NH-L9i It can't handle CPU without case fan
  • CASE : FRACTAL DESIGN Node 202 without case fan this case is too hot for weather of Thailand
  • PSU : SILVERSTONE SX600-G 600Watt 80Plus Gold This PSU is very hard to find and buy in Thailand. I must pre-order it for 1 month and it break down after 1 day of use. So I change to the model I can buy instantly.

How is psu temp and fan noise during load? Been looking at that Silverstone psu for a define nano s build.

PSU temp under system full load is about 50C (I think). Case fan's noise is annoying me. But it's not a big deal I just gear up with a Headset and don't hear it anymore.

I have 3 of 120mm and 1 of 140mm for case fan.

How does the GPU run during full load? Been looking at using the Nano S myself and I want it to stay cool even though my room gets quite toasty.

Under 100% GPU full load and room temp at 32C. The GPU temp is always less than 70C.

Nice Build. Im looking at making a similar setup. I was thinking of using the Cryorig C7 as I like it's aesthetics (it's not too big) Does it not cool enough in your opinion?

Thanks for your comment.

I used CRYORIG C7 before but it didn't fit with my motherboard. A cooler's backplate have conflict with some electronics components behide the cpu socket on this motherboard.

I also pre-order a SilverStone PP08 from dealer in Thailand. It will takes about 1-2 month to arrive.

Yeah I didn't notice that you said you had already ordered the PP08 before. That's why i deleted my comment. ;D Ahh sweet, I might try and see what motherboard it fits on.
