***Update Cable Mod cable combs (5) 8x2x2 (1) 24x2 (2) ASUS Designo 25" Monitors...
This was my first build...
Needs: Make a computer that was decent at rendering as well as working in 3D environments. It also needed to run Autodesk Revit/CAD, Adobe products without any hesitation. Also being an architect it needed to look good too. This machine runs amazing!
Problems: Installing windows was tricky, because I was not used to working in a BIOS and having a M.2, SSD, and an old 2TB HDD. I wanted a fresh install of windows on the M.2. It took me a while to figure out that installing windows I needed to remove all the other SATA connections...it took a while but it is working as I wanted it.
Future: I still have some aesthic things to clean up. I want to laser cut some covers for the SSD drives, as well as get some cable combs for the 16pin GC and a 24 pin comb for the mobo, also fix the cables coming out of the back of the machine. (little bit of cable management)
Success: The 3D printed penguin is one of my favorite pieces in this build. Its just nice and playful. Also specs, I downloaded steam and CSGO to check some fps, because that game seemed like a good benchmark for my system. I am averaging around 280 fps at max graphics. Sometimes as high as 330 fps. That seems pretty good.
All in all great build, everyone on here has been super helpful, as this was very new to me.
