This is my first PC build. I am switching over from a life spent on consoles. Got many great ideas and insights from here and Youtube. I am going to be playing all the games and storing all my media that maxed out my old laptop.
I haven't done any benchmarks or overclocking yet. But I think in the future I will be doing some of those things. Tell me what ya think...any advice or thoughts.
A few notes:
Yes, the RAM is expensive...but it was worth it!
I got the 850 new in box off Craigslist for $100, win!
I got the 1070 new in the box the same day, considering it was on Amazon/Ebay for $999, I was thrilled!
The PSU is overkill, but it was all Amazon had in stock.
I also got the NZXT Aer RGB 140's and the HUE+. It is really cool, RGB isn't for everyone but I highly recommend these items.
This think just looks so cool! I can say figuring out where I wanted this was one of my more difficult decisions while building. Easy to install though and the CAM controls are awesome!
There where no reviews on this before I built. I thought it looked amazing and had a great price when I bought it. I feel like aesthetically this is one of the boards that hangs with some of the high end ASUS MOBOs. BIOS is easy to use, and I will be overcloking in the future.
I bought this for one reason. The price hurts, but it was worth it!
This cased is amazing. I had originally planned on using the regular Pro M, but the tempered glass looked so good. Trust me....just get the tempered glass. Looks amazing and it quiet.
Bad *** monitor. Period.
